Treasure Valley Community College is partnering with Malheur ESD to creating a robust professional development series designed to increase awareness and efficacy of the YouScience Platform in middle and high school classrooms throughout the district.
Further work is underway to create exchanges between community based organizations, industry partners, and CTE classrooms while creating internships for students to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Malheur County has a significant Spanish-speaking population; however, focus groups have determined that Spanish language services in high school and at TVCC remain either limited or unadvertised. Work is underway to address these issues.
